TABLE TENNIS:
GLODWICK ‘B’ are closing in on the Oldham and District Table Tennis League Division One crown.
They need 12 points from their remaining two games to deny Glodwick ‘A’ a ninth title.
They enjoyed a 7-3 triumph over Honeywell ‘C’, which included a double from Khamal Hussain, in their latest clash.
In Division Two, Uppermill ‘A’ are all but guaranteed top honours — they hold a 13-point lead — but the second promotion place is very much up for grabs. Unison ‘A’ are favourites to claim it after Hollinwood ‘B’ slipped up at Honeywell ‘D’.
