Mossley hit play-off places

FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY fired themselves into the Evo-Stik League Division one north play-off places after they came from behind to beat Farsley 2-1 at Seel Park last night.
The Lilywhites’ top-six-chasing rivals led at half-time, but Mossley hit back to take the three points with a 56th-minute penalty from Rio Ahmadi and Tom Pratt’s late winner.
Attention turns to the North-West Counties League First Division tonight as Chadderton are in action at AFC Darwen and Oldham boro travel to Cheadle Town. Both games kick-off at 7.45pm.
