RUGBY: FITTON Hill Bulldogs took their second win of the North-West Men’s League season with a 30-16 success at home to Eccleston Lions.
Lions were first on the board in the Division Three clash thanks to a converted try, but the Bulldogs replied with two of their own from man-of-the-match Rob Froggat and the impressive Michael Hall.
The visitors hit back with a touchdown only for Josh Hulme to break through the line and score under the posts. Froggat converted to put a confident Bulldogs side 16-10 in front at half-time.
Hall doubled his tally after the restart before Anthony Hilton crossed to make the game safe.
