FOOTBALL: CHADDERTON triumphed 1-0 at fellow North-West Counties League First Division play-off chasers AFC Darwen last night. Niall Sultan scored the decisive goal in the 63rd minute.
But Oldham Boro were beaten 3-1 at Cheadle Town.
Steven Crane bagged the local side’s consolation.
Chadderton host third-placed Hanley Town on Saturday, while Boro head to Irlam.
