WATERHEAD Shepherds Boy are celebrating after clinching the Saddleworth Charity Pool League Division One title.
But the side lost out in the cup final to Diggle Hanging Gate - who finished runners-up in the league.
Meanwhile, champions Uppermill Granby — in their first season in the league — and Uppermill Commercial ‘A’ gained promotion from Division Two. Players will now turn their attention to singles and doubles knock-out competitions which take place over the next five weeks.
