Your chance for bowls glory

WHO will follow in the footsteps of Dene Hibbert and win this year’s Green Final Bowling Handicap?
The Chronicle competition's 2015 renewal gets underway in June and concludes on finals night a month later.
Hibbert, last year’s winner, will be among the favourites again this time, though the competition has a history of throwing up new champions - the incentive is clear for anyone out there to give it a go.
The competition is handicapped according to player level. All you need to do to enter is answer these questions:
Your name and address
Your daytime phone number
Your club and teams
Your choice of date: (heats June 5, 12). Final follows on July 4.
Send the details with a £5 cheque or PO made out to Oldham Evening Chronicle, to Bob Nisbet, 22 Severn Road, Hollinwood, Oldham OL8 3RQ.

Competition chairman Keith McHugh said: “The last 10 runnings of the competition have thrown up eight different champions and that’s a result of the new handicapping system we adopted.
“There are regularly players who reach their first finals night and to play in front of a big crowd with so much at stake from a prestige perspective is something which most remember with relish.
“It could just be your turn this year!”
Heats will be at Nimble Nook, Moorside, Delph and North Chadderton Social and Bowling Club on Fridays June 5 and 12. The final will be held at Royton Cricket Club on July 4.
