New contract for Hodnett

CRICKET: GRANT Hodnett has agreed a long-term deal to remain at Moorside.
The professional is in his second season at Turf Pit Lane, after previously starring for Bamford Fieldhouse.
Skipper Danny Anchor said the signing was the “first piece in the jigsaw” as the club builds towards the new Pennine League.
Anchor said Hodnett had turned down offers to play elsewhere in 2016.
