Opportunity knocks for ’Houses and Delph
Date published: 26 June 2015
WOODHOUSES and Delph ought to be confident of making progress up their respective league tables this weekend.
Both face fixture double-headers, with Woodhouses going great guns at present having won their last three Greene King Lancashire County League matches. They will hope to have bowler Josh Butler in good nick again at rock-bottom Stretford tomorrow.
Butler took eight wickets for only 12 runs in last weekend’s rout of Thornham. ’Houses then host Woodbank on Sunday.
Delph play the bottom two sides in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership this weekend.
Tomorrow they host basement side Skelmanthorpe, before travelling to second-bottom Slaithwaite 24 hours later.
All the above games start at 1pm.
