WOODHOUSES are up to seventh spot in the Greene King Lancashire County League table with a thrilling victory at Dukinfield.
The hosts opted for first knock at Clarendon Street, but could only reach a slightly disappointing 180 all out. 'Houses reached that target with a wicket to spare in a nail-biting finish.
DELPH were defeated by 21 runs at Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership table-toppers Scholes.
Scholes batted first and scored an imposing 260 for nine from their 50 overs.
United Arab Emirates international Asim Khurshid was Delph's best bowler, returning decent figures of four for 78. Captain Arron Lilley then scored 80 in Delph's run-chase, but they were eventually all out for 239 despite a further 43 from Khurshid.
