CRICKET: DELPH will be hoping to narrow the gap on fellow Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership high-fliers Shepley tomorrow when the two go head-to-head at Huddersfield Road (1pm start).
Arron Lilley’s men are currently 12 points behind third-placed Shepley in the standings.
Before that, Delph are back in Twenty20 action tonight at Barkisland (6.30pm start) as they play their re-arranged quarter-final tie.
The original match, which had been scheduled for Tuesday, was washed out.
WOODHOUSES face a stern Greene King Lancashire County League test tomorrow when they host second-placed Denton West (1pm).
’Houses’ recent upturn in form has seen them zoom from the bottom of the table to a much more healthy seventh place.
