THERE was a real goal-fest at the MCA Stadium last night as local rivals Chadderton and Mossley went head to head in a pre-season friendly.
It was Evo-Stik League Mossley who triumphed in the end, 6-3 against their North-West Counties League hosts. Brian Matthews scored two for the Lilywhites, with Kyle McGonigle, Tom Dean, Sam Robinson and John Buceto also on target.
Battling Chaddy replied through James Curley (two) and Daniel Murray.
