Pennine League launch date

THE new Pennine Cricket League will be officially launched on September 24.
The alliance of the Central Lancashire and Saddleworth and District Leagues, and all 24 clubs who will start the first season have been invited to the launch at Oldham Athletic Football Club.
The event, held in association with official league sponsors J Lees brewers, will be limited to five people from each member club. Attendees will be told the progress of plans and there will be a chance for delegates to join one of the groups covering various aspects of cricket and the league.
A league website is also being prepared.
