Glorious Greg inspires Delph

GREG Buckley, with 87 and three for 15, did the damage as Delph beat Shelley by 141 runs in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership.

Chris Laker (51) and Luke Hargreaves (41) were also among the runs in Delph’s total of 259 for nine. Delph remain fourth in the table after the team above them, Honley, hammered Slaithwaite by nine wickets.



WOODHOUSES, dismissed for 157, were no match for Glossop, who had amassed 297 batting first in their Lancashire County League clash.
