CRICKET: 

DELPH cruised to victory at Moorlands in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership, moving up a place in the table as a result.

Replying to the hosts’ total of 177 for seven from their 50 overs, Delph roared to an eight-wicket success as Chris Laker struck 67 and Andrew Gleave 76.



WOODHOUSES secured a morale-boosting six-wicket triumph at Denton in the Greene King Lancashire County League. Replying to Denton’s 115 all out at Egerton Street, ’Houses eased to 118 for the loss of just the four wickets.
