CRICKET:
DELPH secured an impressive seven-wicket win against Kirkburton in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership.
Kirkburton recorded 195 for nine from their 50 overs. Chris Laker and Wasim Qasim took four wickets apiece.
Delph chased a revised total in reply after rain interruptions, reaching 176 for three in 29 overs. Graeme Simpson made 54 not out from 49 balls.
