Mossley back on points trail

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: AFTER the midweek replay loss at Bamber Bridge, Mossley return to Evo-Stik League Division One North action tomorrow with a difficult trip to Kendal Town.
The 3-1 Tuesday night defeat in the preliminary round of the FA Cup, was the fifth successive campaign Lilywhites had left at the first hurdle.
Mossley’s league form has been good so far — two wins and two draws — but Kendal have also made an impressive start. They, too, have yet to taste defeat and are three places above the Seel Park outfit in fourth.
CHADDERTON hit the road to Eccleshall tomorrow, buoyed by a 5-1 demolition job in their most recent North-West Counties League Division One outing.
The Andrew Street hierarchy will be hoping for more of the same after goals from James Curley (two), Gareth Morris, Nathaniel Martin and Benjamin Fletcher put Daisy Hill in their place.
Curley’s two efforts book-ended a fine show from Chadderton, who sit 12th in the table, three points and three places better off than this weekend’s opponents.
