BOXING: Boxers coached by experienced trainer Ben Lancaster are gearing up for an exciting winter season.
All the lads are now hard at work in the gym ahead of tournament action and a trip to Eastern Europe.
Lancaster, who has set up on his own in Middleton after leaving Boarshaw ABC, said: “There’s a lot to look forward to and all my lads are ready to make their mark. All being well we’ll be taking a group of boxers over to Poland at the end of October, and then after Christmas, it’ll be time to work towards the senior ABA championships again.”
Royton’s Jack Kilgannon, Failsworth’s Danny Wright and Shaw’s Jack Rafferty will all be entering the chase for a senior ABA title.
