That’s Andy for Wayne

NEW Oldham professional Andy Earlam helped out a club member by teaming up with him in a better-ball medal.
Wayne Adamson needed a partner for the competition, so Earlam stepped in to the breach... with the best possible outcome. The pair returned a 57 to take top spot, but as a professional, Earlam was unable to take any prize money, which was split between Adamson and runners-up David Kendrick and Peter Donlan (58).
The professional’s single Stableford competition was won by Mark Furnival, who ran away with top spot thanks to his score of 42 points. Playing off a handicap of five, Furnival shot a gross one-under-par 66 which included three twos, one of them an eagle on the final hole.
