Oldham quartet play starring roles

SOME of Oldham’s leading darts players helped Lancashire to their latest Inter-Counties Championship success.
Away to Cambridgeshire, Lancashire won 22-14. Oldham’s Mark McGeeney and Dave Adshead notched 4-1 and 4-2 victories respectively for the ‘A’ team, while Carl Sneyd (4-1) and Dave Airey (4-2) triumphed for the ‘B’ side.
The town team are in action on Sunday. They host Wigan at the Blue Club, Chadderton, in the Lancashire Super Eights Elite League.
McGeeney has been selected to represent England in Turkey on October 25.
