FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY have kicked on in Evo-Stik League Division One North following their early-season injuries.
The Lilywhites have won their last three games without conceding a goal and joint manager Peter Band said: “We’re looking strong again. We went through a similar scenario at the beginning of last season. Then we didn’t really get going until November, but went on a great run which saw us competing for a play-off place.”
Mossley host fellow mid-table side Bamber Bridge tomorrow.
CHADDERTON saw their fine run of North-West Counties League First Division form checked when they lost 3-1 to St Helens Town. So they will be keen to bounce back tomorrow when they host local rivals Bacup Borough.
