GARY ELLIS rounded off another successful crown green bowls season with his seventh open tournament success.
The Nimble Nook and Tonge star beat Glynn Cookson (Winsford) 21-11 to clinch victory in the New Longton Invitation 32 in Preston.
Ellis, who has reached 11 major finals in 2015, went through to his latest final with a 21-11 dismissal of Gareth Hughes (Wales).
