FOOTBALL: FAILSWORTH Dynamos swept aside basement boys Wardle 8-0 to go sixth in the Premier Division of the Lancashire Amateur League.
OLDHAM Victoria are up to third place in Division Three of the Lancashire and Cheshire League.
Away to basement side Eagle, Vics had to dig deep to record a 3-2 victory.
Vics’ second team are flying high in Division ‘E’ with eight wins out of eight. They swept aside Stoconians fourths 6-1 in their latest clash, while AFC Oldham 2005 fourths scored nine second-half goals in a 12-3 hammering of their Staly Lions counterparts.
