Cup joy for rampant Dynamos

LANCASHIRE Amateur League Premier Division high-fliers Failsworth Dynamos hammered Chorltonians reserves 6-0 in the Manchester Amateur Cup.
Lancashire and Cheshire League side Oldham Victoria progressed thanks to a 4-2 win at Boothstown reserves, but AFC Oldham were defeated 3-1 at home by Newton Heath (see Match of the Day).

Manchester Amateur Cup: Failsworth Dynamos 6, Chorltonians Res 0; Boothstown Res 2, Oldham Victoria 4; AFC Oldham 1, Newton Heath 3.
