SNOOKER: BLUE Club ‘A’ recorded the perfect score against Royton Band in the Hollands Pies Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
Their 6-0 whitewash of their unfortunate opponents saw them take sole possession of second place.
North Chadderton ‘B’ were also in good form. Breaks of 42 from Danny Balcerzak, 36 from Mick Kennedy
and 33 from Y Khan helped them to secure a 4-2 victory at home to Queensway.
Meanwhile, Tanveer Hussain’s 31 break for Three Cs ‘A’ was the highlight as they beat Chadderton Reform 5-1 at home.
St Paul’s remain the team to beat in the cards section. Their 3-1 victory over Blue Club ‘B’ leaves them three points clear of their nearest rivals, North Chadderton ‘A’ and ‘B’.
