FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY joint-boss Peter Band has been preparing for an aerial bombardment ahead of tomorrow’s Evo-Stik League Division One North home clash against Brighouse Town.
The play off chasing Lilywhites, eighth in the table, will be hoping to build on last weekend’s impressive 3-0 win at Lancaster City.
They face a strong foe in giant Brighouse front man Ernest Boafo. He has scored 12 goals this season.
Band said: “We’ve heard a lot about Boafo. He’s a really big lad and a huge handful. Anything can happen, but we must be on our guard as he’ll be tough to defend against.”
Mossley will be hampered by suspensions tomorrow: skipper Andy Keogh, Tom Pratt and Kyle McGonigle are ruled out following recent misdemeanours.
CHADDERTON hope to return to action after a couple of weeks out due to the weather. The team, struggling in the lower reaches of the division, plays Holker Old Boys.
