Saddleworth Gold Club’s past captains and presidents dinner

GOLF: PAST captains and presidents of Saddleworth Golf Club — 26 in total — gathered for a special dinner at the Mountain Ash course.

The smart turnout included Tony Griffiths and Harold Hawkins. Griffiths was captain in 1984 and Hawkins president in 1986. Hawkins’ captain in that year, Keith Nicholson, was also in attendance.

The event organised by last year’s captain Andy Dunster, who labelled it a great success.
