Valley firsts hit heights

SQUASH: TAME Valley firsts have reached the summit of the ‘I’ Sports North-West Counties Squash League Division Two.

With leaders Bury having no fixture, the Greenfield club grabbed its big chance with a 3-2 win over Capital Squash firsts.

Matt Walker, Gareth Evans and Matt Walsh were on the mark for Valley, who can now enjoy their Christmas and New Year break. The seconds are top of Division Four East after sweeping aside Bury thirds 5-0.
