Longer than expected break

RUGBY: HIGGINSHAW and Hollinwood were left kicking their heels last weekend.
Incessant rain saw their respective matches in Pennine League Division Three West postponed.
It was a thoroughly wet and miserable send-off for 2015. The league programme starts again on January 2 with Higgy third in the table, two points adrift of leaders Clayton and Hollinwood third from bottom, though in touching distance of mid-table.
