Diggle are a knock-out

FOOTBALL: HUDDERSFIELD League top-flight sides Diggle and Heyside both enjoyed super wins in the County FA Challenge Cup competition.
Diggle roared to a 6-2 victory at Netherton, while Heyside cruised home 4-2 against Skelmanthorpe.
In Division Three, Moorside drew 3-3 at Brook Motors, while Matt McGroarty (two), Jaya Cawthorne, Matt Poulter and Jake Jacobs netted for Uppermill as they won by the odd goal in nine against Wooldale Wanderers.
Danny Laithwaite scored twice for 3D Dynamos as they won 4-1 at Storthes Hall in Division Four.
Also on the mark were Tom Milnes and Kyle Moore.
ROYTON Town made smooth progress up to third place in the FBT Manchester League Premier Division table thanks to a convincing 4-0 home win against Stockport Georgians.
The only other local action to survive came in Division Two, where Town’s reserves lost 2-1 at home to Dukinfield and Hollinwood’s second string were thumped 5-1 at Walshaw Sports.
AFC OLDHAM secured an eye-catching 4-4 home draw against leaders Stoconians in Division Two of the Lancashire and Cheshire League.
