Non-league football: GUTSY Mossley came from behind to beat Kendal 3-2 at Seel Park.
After three weeks without a match thanks to weather postponements, the Lilywhites started the game with bags of enthusiasm and went in front after 10 minutes through Michael Thomas.
But by the interval the hosts found themselves 2-1 behind as the Cumbrians hit back with goals from Nathan Bondwell and Sam Bailey.
The topsy-turvy clash turned on its head again just after the hour when skipper Andy Keogh equalised, before Tom Pratt’s penalty strike won the game for the hosts.
The Lilywhites return to action on Saturday when they travel to take on Prescot Cables.
It was a miserable derby day in the North West Counties League first division for Chadderton, also returning from an inactive three weeks. They were thumped 5-0 at Rochdale Town.
Jonathan Thompson (three), Carl Fitton and Martin Payne were on target for Town.
Chaddy, who have lost five of their last six games, head to Stockport Town on Saturday in their next match.
