Whitewash win lifts Blue Club ‘B’

SNOOKER: AN EMPHATIC 6-0 whitewash of Chadderton Reform lifted Blue Club ‘B to top of the Hollands Pies Oldham Amateur Snooker League.

K Bamford, D Ashworth, P Ashworth, G Taylor and A Gartside were on the mark. Blue Club ‘B’ hold a one-point lead over a group of three, including their ‘A’ team, as well as Deaf ‘C’ and Nimble Nook.

Three 3Cs ‘A’ are hot on the heels of the leading four teams.

St Paul’s remain the team to catch in the cards section. They beat CBC 3-1 in their most recent clash and boast a five-point advantage over nearest rivals North Chadd ‘B’.
