FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY moved up a place to seventh in the Evo-Stik League Division One North table last night despite being held to a dour goalless draw at Seel Park by high-flying rivals Ossett Albion.

The Lilywhites are at home again on Saturday, against Scarborough Athletic.

Chadderton’s scheduled home North-West Counties League First Division clash against Barnton was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Chadderton travel to Widnes on Saturday.
