Brit march into next round

FOOTBALL: ONLY two Oldham Sunday League fixtures survived the latest winter weather.
In the Challenge Cup, Britannia enjoyed a 6-3 win against Chaddy Cott. Jordan Hall (three), Adam Ruddock, Andy Hughes and Stu Skibinski scored for the Brit, while Mark Buckley (two) and Jay Cook replied.
The other game came in the Jack Abbott Premier Division, with Crown triumphing 2-1 at struggling Oldham GPO. Mike King’s strike for the posties was bettered by Crown goals from James Holden and Danny Browne.
THERE’S no doubting the top match this Sunday as Fitton Hill and Top House go head-to-head in the fifth round of the Manchester County FA Sunday Cup at Snipe Clough (2pm). Both sides boast 100 per cent records in the Oldham Sunday League
