FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY moved to within a single point of the Evo-Stik League Division One North play-off positions with a 1-0 win against Glossop North End last night.
With former Lilywhites boss Chris Willcock in charge, fourth-placed Glossop were sunk by John Bennett’s 73rd-minute strike. Mossley host second-placed Northwich Victoria on Saturday.
