Blue Club star’s big break in vain
Date published: 02 March 2016
SNOOKER: REECE Kershaw chalked up the highest break of the season so far — a superb 83 — but his effort didn’t help.
The Blue Club ‘A’ star clinched the final frame of the night at home to title hopefuls North Chadd ‘B’ in the Hollands Pies Oldham Amateur Snooker League. But the visitors emerged victorious in a 4-2 scoreline. Martin Kennedy was in fine form for North Chadd ‘B’ as a break of 38 clinched frame three.
Blue Club ‘B’ proved too hot to handle as they swept aside Springbank 6-0 on the green baize. They are joint third in the table, three points adrift of top spot.
THE delegates meeting scheduled for Sunday, March 20, has been brought forward to Sunday, March 13.
All individual and pairs knock-outs are to be played and results notified to Craig Hall ahead of this revised date.
