In the battle of the third versus second-placed teams in the table, Oldham will be disappointed as their inexperienced side threw away a 5-2 lead. All of Oldham’s five winners secured 4-2 victories.
Stuart Harding registered a 80.06 three-dart average, while Gary Jackson (83.59), Dave Rawstron (81.84), debut boy Jordan McAndrew (67.24) and Dave Airey (93.57) were the other Oldham victors.
Rawstron included a 120 checkout in his win, while the man-of-the-match was Airey.
Oldham are next in action on April 10 when they host Blackpool.
