Momentum with in-form Rangers

RUGBY: IT has been some start to the season for Saddleworth Rangers.
Victories in both of their National Conference League games was complemented by a terrific defeat of Rochdale Mayfield in Easter Monday’s Standard Cup final.
Saddleworth are on a high and coach Paul Geener will be keen to maintain the feelgood factor at home to Stanley Rangers tomorrow. The visitors to Shaw Hall Bank Road have one point from two games in Division Two.
Oldham St Anne’s have also shown plenty of early promise. Away to Woolston Rovers in Division Three tomorrow, Saints will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run to three matches following a win and draw under the watchful eye of new coaching team Sean Whitehead and Paul Ashton.
Waterhead Warriors host Drighlington tomorrow, and coach Dave Orwell will hope his side can make best use of the Peach Road pitch as they go in search of their first points of the season.
