Mossley Joint managers (l-r) Peter Band and Lloyd Morrison
IT'S FA Cup day at Mossley tomorrow, but despite an unbeaten start to the Evo-Stik League campaign, joint-manager Peter Band is still not 100-per-cent satisfied.
The Lilywhites host Northern Counties East League high-fliers Hemsworth Miners' Welfare in the preliminary round, and they will need to be on their guard.
The Yorkshire side top their table, while Mossley haven't necessarily impressed despite a home draw against Kendal Town and a dramatic 4-3 win at Radcliffe Borough .
The visitors were 3-1 down with three minutes to go on Tuesday, but somehow snatched a thrilling win.
"Our games should come with a health warning," said Band (pictured, left).
"Seriously, though, myself and Lloyd (fellow joint-boss Morrison) still ripped into the lads after Tuesday's game because we've not been good enough so far.
"I think over the two games, we've only played about 60 minutes of decent football. We've still managed to pick up four points, though.
"Some of the attitudes have got to be better."
Mossley hope to sign former Athletic striker Jordan Bove tonight, and he should slot in for his debut at Seel Park tomorrow.
CHADDERTON, who are currently fifth in the Hallmark Security League First Division, host Atherton LR tomorrow.
Under new boss Mark Howard, Chaddy have picked up seven points from their last three games following their opening-day defeat by new team City of Liverpool.
