Ashton CC bowls team Swallow Cup winners
ASHTON Cricket Club's team (pictured left) won the Chadderton League's Swallow Cup with victory over Nimble Nook 'B' in the final.
The scores were tied after eight matches, but Geoff Moxon sealed victory for Ashton with a 21-10 success in the last game. Losing semi-finalists were Stalybridge Rec 'A' and Springbank.
