Investigation launched after man's body found

Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found on a street in Oldham yesterday afternoon.
It was around 3pm when officers were called to St Hilda’s Drive in Oldham after receiving reports that the body of a man had been found.
Emergency services attended the scene and a cordon was put in place, which has since been lifted.
Formal identification of the man is still to take place with officers trying to establish how he died, however they have ruled out any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A file has now been passed to the coroner.
