The family of an Oldham woman who was murdered in Ancoats have paid tribute to her.
Shortly after 7.40am on Tuesday, February 13, police were called to reports that a man had jumped from a second storey flat window before assaulting three people.
Officers gained entry to a nearby flat and discovered the body 24-year-old Danielle Richardson.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains under arrest and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Paying tribute to Danielle, her family said: “Dannii was a loving and caring mother, sister, daughter and auntie.
“She had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it. She worked briefly as a carer in an elderly care home and she was much loved by many of the residents.
“There isn’t anyone that would have a bad word to say about Dannii. It’s broken everyone’s hearts that she was taken from us so soon.
“We know she will be watching over us and will always be in our hearts.”
