A teenager has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a teenage girl in Oldham.
A 15-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted murder.
She has been remanded in custody and will appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday).
Police were called at around 4.15pm on Monday (April 9) to reports that a teenager had been assaulted on Westend Street in Oldham.
A 15-year-old girl had been stabbed twice and she was taken to hospital for treatment where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
