The taped-off scene at the junction of Shaw Road and Egerton Street this morning
A car smashed into railings and a bollard at the junction of Shaw Road and Egerton Street last night (Monday), but no injuries were reported.
The damage was still clearly visible to commuters this morning, as our image (above) shows.
A Greater Manchester Police statement read: "Shortly before 9.15pm on Monday, June 4, 2018, police were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a bollard on Shaw Road in Oldham.
"Officers attended and found a damaged car. No one has reported any injuries.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 2376 of 04/06/18."
