The family friendly event, hosted by Oldham Council and Revolution 96.2 promised something for everyone and it delivered as acts from CBeebies to Dodgy rocked the main stage all afternoon and deep into the evening.

‘Sid’s Gameshow’ with Sid from CBeebies were joined by Russ Brown’s Puppet show and more family fun with Andy B after the event got underway just after midday, with something to keep the children entertained.

Once the childen’s entertainment had finished it was on to the music with the likes of Ella Shaw and Revolution 96.2’s Dave Sweetmore getting the crowd going.

On the whole the weather appeared to behave itself with Sweet Female Attitude playing their hits in front of the hundreds of people.

Next up it was Owen Paul before the headline act took to the main stage.

Dodgy promised they’d play all the hits along with some new songs and they didn’t disappoint with the crowd loving their set and singing along at the top of their voices throughout.

It was the second time Parliament Square had hosted Oldham Live with many in the crowd already looking forward to next year as they left the event.
