Latest cases from the Greater Manchester Magistrates' Court in Tameside.
Niaz Ahmed (45), of Spring Street Hostel, was ordered to pay £40 compensation for stealing cash and £150 for damaging a car window.
Gregg Ditchfield (35), of Middleton Road, was committed to prison for a total of 238 days and placed under a Criminal Behaviour Order to prevent him from entering the Chadderton Precinct area for two years.
This was for a series of thefts from Boots, Farmfoods and Asda.
He was also ordered to pay £50 compensation for assault.
Rocy Kisati (27), of County Street, was ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work, paying £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge for driving a car without insurance under the influence of alcohol and whilst being disqualified from holding a license.
Allah Ditta (36), of Abbeyhills Road, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £300 costs for driving without due care and attention in Tameside.
Alex Riley (27), of Manchester Street, was ordered to pay £97.95 in compensation and undertake 80 hours unpaid work and treatment for drug dependency for trespassing and stealing clothing from Blue Inc.
Lewis Grady (20), of Lord Street, was fined £160 with £30 victim surcharge and £100 costs and disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 20 months for driving over the alcohol limit in Oldham.
