A teenage boy has been charged after robbers attempted to steal a man’s bike in Manchester City Centre.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted robbery.
He has been bailed to appear before Manchester Youth Court on September 25, 2018.
This is in relation to an incident which took place on Oxford Road at around 7.20pm on Tuesday, September 4 and was filmed before being widely shared on social media.
The video showed a man being punched in the face as the offenders attempted to steal his bike.
He refused to let go and was dragged across the floor before the offenders gave up and fled the scene.
