Children take part in a three legged race for the Cobra Kan Karate Do sports day.
A karate club in Failsworth has celebrated their annual sports day… with a water balloon fight.
Cobra Kan Karate Do, based on Partington Street, is a Community Amateur Sports Club.
On Sunday 2 September, 80 of their members and parents took part in a day of games – split into four teams: Viper, Rattlesnake, Anaconda and Python.
They were all awarded points throughout the day based on how well they’d done in all of the games – which were then converted into water balloons for the huge water fight.
The teams were all given special bandanas to show which team they were competing for.
There was also a picnic lunch for those taking part.
Organisers say it’s a way of giving back to those who have spent the year fundraising to keep the club going.
