More high winds and heavy rain is being predicted for our region, as the Met Office continues to warn Oldham residents of the conditions.
A yellow weather warning for wind is in place for overnight on Thursday and Friday – as well as a warning for rain throughout the day.
Heavy downpours are likely throughout the evening and will carry on into tomorrow, with even some thundery spells later on during Friday.
The Met Office says persistent and heavy rain is expected to develop in our region.
They’re warning of spray and flooding on roads, which may make journey times longer.
Bus and train services could also be affected.
There could be disruption to power in some places and the Met Office is warning of flooding in places, which could affect homes and businesses.
