Police were called to reports of a serious collision on Taylor Street
A 33-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Shortly after 3.30pm yesterday (Monday), police were called to reports of a serious collision between a red Range Rover and a pedestrian on Taylor Street in Rochdale.
The pedestrian, an 11-year-old girl, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of the emergency services.
