Dr Kershaw's van found in Rochdale

Date published: 03 October 2018

Staff from Dr Kershaw’s Hospice have recovered their hospice-branded van after it was stolen from the Turf Lane headquarters.

CCTV footage revealed that two males broke into the vehicle around 7.50pm last night (Tuesday) and drove it away.

However, after an appeal was launched this morning, a member of the public called a short time ago to say they had spotted the van outside a block of flats in the Falinge area of Rochdale.

Police have been informed, and delighted Dr Kershaw's staff are currently awaiting a recovery vehicle as the extent of any possible damage to the van is still unknown.

The white Ford Transit van with Dr Kershaw’s branding was donated to the Hospice by OMC Ford (Oldham).

Thanks for sharing the appeal.
